MicroSmart - a Tajima exclusive - is a groundbreaking proprietary technology that acts as the "brains" of the machine. MicroSmart Technology optimizes microchip integration into the design and operation of the machine and simultaneously executes each task command in the stitch production process - thereby producing the world's smartest and easiest machine to operate. The new Tajima M Series featuring MicroSmart Technology redefines state-of-the-art. In fact, it is the world's first embroidery machine that thinks for itself.

MicroSmart Technology integrates certain mechanical innovations into the production process giving you the most powerful capabilities available anywhere. The new 32 bit controller runs at 300MHz and utilizes the Windows® CE Operating System. The full color 6.5" Thin Film Transistor (TFT) LCD MicroSmart screen shows the design and location of the needle at any point in the sewing process, X and Y coordinates, machine codes and more. Some MicroSmart machine management information is password protected. Standard MicroSmart memory is 2,000,000 stitches and now up to 256 designs can be saved in memory. Either floppy disk or Compact Flash can be used for data transfer. Frame Drive is MicroSmart controlled yielding a more precise stitch length and higher quality embroidery. Additionally, the MicroSmart AC Servo pulse motor is a closed system with electronic feedback, mitigating contamination and producing more accurate stitching. The MicroSmart electronics allow for faster frame movement and increased accuracy between stitches.

	Takeup Lever Guard Tajima's exclusive Take-up Lever Guard prevents thread from tangling during sewing operation. The end result is more sewing and less downtime.
	Rotary Tension Device (Pat. Pending) Automatically detects and indicates top or bottom thread breakage, immediately stopping the machine and thereby preventing any missed stitches.
	Upper Thread Lock Cap embroidery is significantly improved and sewing is brought up to the top of the bill with Tajima's upper thread hook and specially-shaped arm.
	Multiple Data Input Sources Data can be transferred to the controller via USB and LAN (wired or wireless).
	Advanced Noise Reduction - (Patented) A double-cam mechanism reduces mechanical movement, while an electronic dampening system reduces machine noise levels.
	Automatic Thread Trimming Device - (Patented) Upper and lower threads are trimmed evenly and efficiently without fraying. Fast operation keeps the process cycle time to a minimum, ensuring virtually uninterrupted production.
	Precision Notched Needle Plate The specially-designed needle plate allows for perfect stitching on caps without any bending, buckling or twisting of stitches
	Uni-Sash Paired heads are in sections for easy switch-over from caps to tubular to cylinder.
	MicroSmart 32 Bit Color LCD Controller Setup and store designs in folders for easy management. Edit, resize and rotate designs at the machine. Intuitive production feedback, such as a real-time graphical display of needle location during sewing, helps keep production on track and on-time.
	Tajima Training All new machine purchases include training. If your equipment requires installation, onsite Training will be provided by the Technician. If your equipment is shipped ready-to-run, Startup Embroidery Training will be provided via a combination of live online and hands-on classroom.

Boring Device
A special knife first bores the fabric and then the device inserts overlock stitches around the hole. The hole size is adjustable and the shape can be created in via the digitizing process.

Cording Device
Various kinds of cording materials can be attached at high speeds with this special attachment. A simple adjustment of the device height varies the stitch volume and expands the range of embroidery expression.

Sequin Device
