Hirsch International Offers New Kornit Breeze Digital Printer
The Kornit 921 Breeze, offered by Hirsch International, incorporates the sophisticated technology of Kornit’s larger industrial-grade direct-to-garment printers but in a compact, affordable unit that will work from any desktop or laptop computer. This entry-level printer allows you to print lights and darks and also has a built-in system that automatically applies pretreatment solution to the shirt inside the machine.
The Breeze features a standard 14-inch by 18-inch print size with resolutions of 600 by 600 dpi and 1,200 by 600 dpi. It’s made with the same high-quality Spectra print heads used in the larger Kornit models and uses the same unique ink system that incorporates six industrial print heads (CMYK and white) with 256 nozzles in each.
It is easy to operate and does not need an air compressor. It can be used onsite in a shop, office, or factory. It uses Kornit’s proprietary pigmented ink and QuickP RIP. Dimensions are 3 feet 8 inches (1.14 meters) by 4 feet 11 inches (1.5 meters) by 2 feet 3 inches (.7 meter). It can print on cotton, cotton/polyester blends, Lycra, Viscose, silk, and more.
