Tajima Shuttlehook

ShuttleHook

Tajima is pushing the boundaries of innovation in embroidery with its latest machine, the TFMS Six-Head Shuttle Hook. Using new technology that replaces the traditional rotary hook used in embroidery machines with a shuttle hook, this specialty embroidery machine can sew with much bigger threads and yarns than ever before.

Each of the 15 needles can be threaded with a different weight or denier yarn that opens up the doors to creating brand new looks and effects. Mix and match thread types to create texture and dimension on a wide range of apparel. You can now use threads that previously were only used for chain stitching or chenille. Choose from wools, polyesters, cottons, and rayons, virtually any available type of thread is compatible up to 900 denier, which is approximately three times the thickness of a traditional 40 weight thread.

The TFMS Six-Head Shuttle Hook machine also saves on stitch counts because now instead of increasing the density of a stitch and going back and forth over an area to fill it, you simply use a thicker thread. For the fashion and spiritwear markets, you can create raw, handmade, crafty looking designs that are not available anywhere else.

The machine has all of the great features offered on all M Series Tajima machines such as a user-friendly color LCD panel, upper and lower thread-break detectors, quick change-over from tubular to caps, beam sensor safety feature, automatic upper and lower thread trimmers and a noise reduction features for quiet operation.

The rotary tension device automatically detects and indicates top or bottom thread breakage, immediately stopping the machine and preventing missed stitches. Cut back on downtime with the exclusive take-up lever guard, which prevents thread from tangling during sewing operation. The variable thread tension system adjusts thread tension automatically to ensure a smooth feed from cone to needle for clean embroidery at high speeds.
